Once in a rare while a hotel stands above the rest in quality and service, and IC Athenee managed to do just this. We arrived around midnight absolutely beat after 5 weeks of trips and a 12 hour travel day, and Andra immediately read the room: expedient and the consummate professional, she got us promptly to our connected rooms (thank you so much for fulfilling this request!) with exemplary hospitality! Christian (who had secured parking for us upon arrival) had our luggages in a blink and we immediately felt like home away from home. From the cleaning staff and the laundry service, to the in-room dining team and the checkout lady (my apologies for not looking at the name) everyone exceeded expectations with their efficiency and kindness, and made our stay an absolute delight. In a big world, this is one place we would return to in a blink!

We stayed here 4 nights in June 2024 in a Classic room with furnished balcony. The room is not large but functional with 2 chairs and a small desk with chair. The room has a minibar, a Nespresso machine, a watercooker and iron and ironing board. WiFi and shower are both excellent, although it is not easy to shower without getting water on the bathroom floor. Lighting and the bed are very good. Probably the best WiFi ever in a hotel. Most staff members are friendly (one concierge is an exception) and helpful and they all speak good English. Breakfastbuffet is very good. There are several restaurants within walking distance and also a small supermarket is close to the hotel.

I recently stayed at the InterContinental Hotel Athénée Palace in Bucharest for a wedding weekend with my boyfriend, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully designed with a blend of classic elegance and modern touches. Our room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure our stay was pleasant. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was luxurious yet welcoming, making it a perfect choice for a special occasion. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bucharest!

The staff were very friendly and professional at all times. The room was very large and spacious and beds comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with exceptional toiletries! The breakfast was fantastic and the offering amazing! Enjoyed a few meals at the English Bar which were good. the service from the bar lady working there was excellent! Location is very good.

We had the surprise of a lifetime when we were upgraded from a standard room to the presidential suite. It was an absolutely incredible experience—the most spacious and luxurious room we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you once again for making our stay so special!
